We love collaborating with talented, like-minded people! For this special Oyster Social, we'll be joining forces with Eric Bartle and Sara Kundelius, aka, The WildernessHunters. This culinary powerhouse of a couple does it all from foraging, fishing, cooking, curing, preserving and baking--and they make it all look effortless (and delicious). They will be creating some signature seafood dishes, working in some of their favorite foraged and preserved items like mussels grilled with matsutake teriyaki and smoked bay shrimp rolls with wood sorrel mayo on scratch brioche buns. Wildly delicious!
We will be showcasing fresh NW oysters and other raw bar selections, rounding out the menu with tapas-style small plates. Matt from Merit Badge will be shaking and stirring up cocktails featuring spirits from Portland's own Bull Run Distillery who is launching Oregon Whiskey Hour, a new program celebrating Oregon whiskey. Head Distiller Lee Medoff will pour tastes of their new Oregon Single Malt Whiskey and chat with everyone about what makes Oregon whiskey so unique and delicious.
We'll also be featuring a special oyster and Oregon whiskey pairing situation that you won't want to miss!
