We are putting on a beautiful feast benefitting Prairie Mountain Folk School with our friends from The Jennings Hotel and Totally. It will be an extraordinary evening for so many reasons. We will celebrate the culmination of Prairie Mountain Folk School's first week of classes teaching hands-on heritage trades such as weaving, forging and carving. We will break bread, drink wine and share stories. And we will toast to our togetherness and good fortune, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Joseph, Oregon.
The meal we are preparing will be cooked over the flames, naturally, and will pay homage to the region's growers and producers, the foodways of the Nez Perce tribe and Eastern Oregon's cowboy culture. Pastry goddess Kristen Murray of MÅURICE will provide the perfect sweet ending to an evening filled with feasting, storytelling and community-building.
