Open Fire 'Clam Bake'

  • Wilder Lake Dundee Oregon (map)

Video by Jeremy Flores for Weston Table

An East Coast tradition gets an open fire PNW makeover, Tournant-style.

We have always been admirers of the great East Coast summer tradition of the Clam Bake, where a hole is dug at the beach, lined with rocks, filled with coals and layered with seaweed, lobsters, clams, corn, and potatoes, which slowly steam to perfection.

We can’t wait to share our open fire take on this grand tradition, with buttery grilled lobsters, fire-roasted corn, wood-oven clams, crispy smashed potatoes, plus icy fresh oysters and a few other surprises.

We’re lucky to call the supremely talented winemaker Jay McDonald of EIEIO & Company our neighbor and friend. Both the man and his wines are quite rich with character! What a pleasure it will be to invite Jay to the table to pair his balanced, elegant wines with our sumptuous lobster feast.

Join us for a leisurely, decadent summer afternoon drenched in sunshine, wine and shellfish, spent at Wilder Lake, a dreamy private lakefront property in Oregon wine country.

Tickets include a welcome cocktail from Westward Whiskey, lots of tasty snacks, a pescatarian multicourse feast from the flames, EIEIO wines and dessert.
