Tournant Destination Events

Co-create YOUR own immersive dining experience with us

We believe in creating immersive dining experiences that tell a story about time, place and purpose.

Whether on a mountaintop, in a meadow, or by the sea, The Tournant Experience is centered around open-fire cooking and and creating rustic, beautiful food—made fresh onsite. Our style is to create an interactive outdoor kitchen where we prepare food in front of guests to encourage engagement, curiosity and connection.

We believe the best food is prepared simply and honestly, with excellent technique, allowing the ingredients to shine. With each meal, we strive to create a sense of place and ceremony, bringing together our love of community and farm-focused food to create unforgettable moments around the table.

Seasonal Farm to Fire Cooking

We are dedicated to the craft of good cooking. To us, this means starting with exceptional ingredients that have been farmed, raised, fished and foraged with care, then treating them with respect.

We believe in starting with the best local, seasonal ingredients and preparing them simply but thoughtfully.

Forging connections

Our intention is for guests to connect with one another and engage with the food and our cooking process in a meaningful way, so we focus on family-style feasts, meals cooked over live fire and items meant to be eaten with your hands.

Our meals are a conversation between your vision, the seasons and the surroundings. Though ephemeral, these dining experiences create space for guests to slow down, connect, savor the moment, and create lasting memories.

The Signature Tournant Experience

Seasonal Farm to Fire Feasts

Together we’ll create a unique and memorable event with a personalized menu that reflects the seasons and surroundings, so that you can enjoy a stress-free immersive experience with your guests.

We arrive at your destination and set up a mobile outdoor kitchen where we will prep, cook and serve your meal. If the venue permits, we will build a ground fire for cooking, though we can easily use above ground fire pits or grills.

Client Testimonials

We are still reeling by how amazing the event was. The food experience exceeded our wildest expectations. I wanted to call special attention to the edible flowers. 😍 You delivered! From the cocktails to the flan, it’s clear how much you drew from what we described to co-create a masterpiece. It was a sheer delight to work with you. I assure you we will see you again (and again).

You two are such a gift to all who have the honor of meeting you. Your passion for food, friends, and one another shines just as brilliantly as the incredible sunset that night. We are grateful for the evening you shared with us and for all the love you share with every plate.
— Erika P.
I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for all your amazing help in creating a successful evening for our fundraiser. The food was off the hook and so beautifully presented!! We had so many wonderful compliments about the food and your service was absolutely impeccable! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
— Sarah L.
I’ve never had people rave about a dinner like they did for the meal you all prepared. Everything was so amazingly delicious and BEAUTIFUL, I seriously could not have been happier. But more than the delicious meal — you all, the whole team, were such an incredible treat. The kindness and spirit you guys have is like nothing else, and it made the whole evening so special for us. I know how much goes into making what you guys do look effortless, and I can’t thank you enough — I knew this would be a tricky scenario for a lot of caterers, with the inherent limitations of the setting, on top of being so front and center the whole night and needing to interact with guests — All I ever saw from you all was smiles, calm energy and sweet words and it is such a testament to what you’re doing. We are so thankful you were able to be a part of our day, and for everything we know you all did behind the scenes to make it go so smoothly and beautifully — it all added to the magic of the night.
