PNW Open Fire Cooking Retreat @ Loloma Lodge

  • Loloma Lodge 56687 McKenzie Hwy McKenzie Bridge, OR 97413 United States (map)

Meet us in the lush green forests of the Pacific Northwest.

This spring, join us at Loloma Lodge in an old growth forest on the bank of a pristine river for a four day retreat designed to inspire, nourish and refresh. Days will be spent outdoors exploring the natural wonders of the McKenzie River Basin. Come evening, we’ll gather around the outdoor fire kitchen to cook meals together over the flames, then sit down to share al fresco feasts paired with local wines and spirits.

This workshop is for cooks of all levels who love food, fire, nature and adventure. We’ll deep dive into the basics of building and combining flavors, cooking with the seasons and surroundings, and mastering open fire cooking techniques with some favorite tools and equipment from our friends at Barebones.

This is a slow food and lifestyle retreat. Fun excursions will be coupled with hands-on lessons as well as plenty of leisure time to rest, forest bathe, sit by the fireplace with a book, and simply take in the extraordinary beauty of the region.
