Join us for an intimate vegetable-focused masterclass in Farm to Fire cooking.
Chefs Jaret, Mona and the Tournant team will be demonstrating their signature cooking techniques in a hands-on workshop around a series of open fires at Star Mooring Farm, a third generation farm in the Willamette Valley bountiful with hazelnuts, vineyards, fruit trees and vegetables.
This half day workshop is for cooks of all levels who love food and cooking (and vegetables!) and are curious about the basics of building and combining flavors, cooking with the seasons and surroundings, and mastering open fire cooking techniques such as ash-roasting, grilling, cedar-planking and dutch oven cooking.
We. Love. Vegetables. The plant kingdom offers infinite variations and inspirations as tastes and textures shift and evolve throughout the seasons. Vegetable fire cookery is by far the most dynamic and complex part of what we do and we can’t wait to share our secrets with you.
The vegetable-focused menu will be prepared together around the flames, then shared in a safe and socially distant manner. Attendees will go home with the fundamentals of this rustic tradition to put to use for their own gatherings with friends and family.
This event is BYOB. Please feel free to bring libations to enjoy—or to share! Attendees will receive the address and additional itinerary details as the workshop date draws near.
