Iron. Fire. Brine. A masterclass in live fire seafood cookery.

Chefs Jaret, Mona and the Tournant team will be demonstrating their signature cooking techniques in a hands-on workshop around a series of open fires at Hama Hama Oyster Co., a fifth generation shellfish farm on the Hood Canal in Lilliwaup, WA.

This half day workshop is for cooks of all levels who love food and cooking (and oysters!) and are curious about the basics of building and combining flavors, cooking with the seasons and surroundings, and mastering open fire cooking techniques such as ash-roasting, grilling, cedar-planking and dutch oven cooking.

The seafood-focused menu will be prepared together around the flames, then shared in a safe and socially distant manner. Attendees will go home with the fundamentals of this rustic tradition to put to use for their own gatherings with friends and family.

This event is BYOB. Please feel free to bring libations to enjoy—or to share! Attendees will receive additional itinerary details as the workshop date draws near.
