As part of the Shuck Portland series of events, we’ll be hosting Iron, Fire and Brine, an open fire seafood cooking class.
Join us for an all-you-can-eat Oysterfest! This hands-on class will start with mountains of freshly shucked oysters, frosty beers and a guided whiskey tasting of small batch American single malts with our friends at Wanderback. Then, together, we'll gather around the flames to prepare a lunch of flame-grilled flatbreads, fire-roasted oysters (served with our famous ‘butter bar’) and cast-iron pots brimming with seafood pozole.
We’ll provide all cooking materials and equipment (featuring custom grills by Del Fuego Ironworks and cast iron from Barebones Living), so just bring your curiosity, appetite and all-weather gear, as the class will go on rain or shine!
